Robert Brinks
Robert Brinks has more than 20 years of experience in the field of VAT and international tax law. Robert studied Tax Law and Italian at Leiden University. After graduating, he joined a big-four firm in Milan as a VAT adviser. He also worked for several years in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland as a consultant for VAT and international tax law.
After returning to the Netherlands, he completed the post-master Indirect Taxation at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has also completed the professional training required for membership of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs or NOB). Over the years, Robert has built up a clientele of mostly internationally oriented customers, from Italy and other countries.
Robert specialises in VAT and international tax law. With his international experience, Robert is the ideal person to lead our Italian Desk. From here, he advises and assists Italian companies with their activities in the Netherlands and vice versa. Robert is a valued tax specialist, and regularly acts as authorised representative on behalf of clients.
